Delivery Charges

$10 zone: Elsternwick, Caulfield South, Caulfield North, Ripponlea, Glen Huntly, Gardenvale, St Kilda, St Kilda East, Prahran, Windsor, Balaclava, Elwood, Brighton or other local suburbs within 10 mins driving from our shop, Minimum order $35.

$15 zone: Malvern, , Bentleigh, Bentleigh East, Ormond, Carnegie, Murrumbeena, McKinnon, South Yarra, Toorak, Kooyong, Middle Park, Albert Park, South Melbourne, Brighton East, Oakleigh, Huntingdaleor other suburbs within 15 mins driving from our shop. Minimum order $35.

$20 zone: , South Melbourne, Clayton, Clayton South, Hampton, Hampton East, Moorabbin, Heatherton, Cheltenham, Sandringham, Glen Iris, Malvern East, Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Camberwell, Richmond, Cremorne, Burnley, Port Melbourne, Southbank, South Wharf, Docklands, Chadstone, Springvale or other suburbs within 20 mins driving from our shop. Minimum order $35.

$25 zone: Blackrock, Mentone, Beaumaris, Mulgrave, or other suburbs within 25 mins driving from our shop. Minimum order $50.

$30 zone: : suburbs over 30mins driving from our shop. Minimum order $50. 

$35 zone: suburbs within 35mins driving from our shop. Minimum order $50.

General Terms

  • All prices on this website are displayed in Australian dollars inclusive of all taxes where applicable.
  • The standard price is representative of the product displayed in the image. The additional prices (where selected) indicates an increase in size and/or flower or container value.
  • All images and designs are illustrated guides to the style of flowers, foods and gifts to be delivered. Shady Hill Luxury Flowers endeavors to replicate the deliver flowers, foods, containers and any additional accessories as shown on the website. But we reserve the right to make substitutions where ultimately necessary depending on seasonal availability or where the products do not meet quality standards. 
  • For same day delivery, we are unable to gurentee that your order will be delivered in the morning even you have putted AM as delivery time. We will try our best to deliver it as soon as possible, but it also depend on how busy we are, if it is an urgent matter, we are happy to help, but we suggest you to call us to check with us first. 

Order Alterations

We accept order alternations up until the moment the order has left the shop. Additional fees however, may apply.

These alterations can include delivery addresses, changes to card messages, changes to the original requested product and changes to the recipient’s name.

Order Cancellations

For cancellations occurring at least 24 hours before the delivery date, Shady Hill Florists can refund the total amount. However cancellations placed after this period can only receive a partial refund or credit as the flowers have already been constructed, cut and designed. 

Delivery to Hospitals/Nursing Homes

To ensure proper delivery to hospitals or nursing homes, we kindly ask that you please supply us with the following details during the checkout process in the comments section:

  • Recipient's full name
  • Ward name or number
  • Hospital name and address
  • Whether recipient is a patient, resident or staff

For convenience  to recipients, we recommend carefully choosing flowers and gifts limited to our range of:

  • Flowers in vases
  • Small to medium sized arrangements
  • Flowers only as most hospitals do not allow plants
  • Gifts only for intensive care or other special care units 

Delivery for Sympathy Orders

To ensure that orders are processed as smoothly as possible, please supply us with the following information during the checkout process in the comments section:

  • Full name of the deceased
  • Name and address of the funeral home and name and phone number of a relative
  • Date and time of the funeral

For Gift Packs

In the event of any items picture being unavailable, we will aim to substitute the item with other goods similar in style of equivalent or greater value. Where there are two prices listed, the flower and gift pack will represent the base or starting value. 

Delivery on Public Holidays

Please keep in mind that Shady Hill Florists are unable to guarantee deliveries on Public Holidays. However if you are unsure, we recommend contact us directly on 03 9527 7757 to check if delivery can be made.

Mother’s Day Deliveries

Mother’s Day is the biggest day of the year. Pre- order is suggested.

At least 2 days’ notice is requested by Shady Hill Luxury Flowers if you want to deliver flowers in the morning of Mother’s Day unless it has been agreed by phone call.


Shady Hill Luxury Flowers follows the first in first out principle for all deliveries on Mother’s Day unless there is special requested by phone call.  

We guarantee all Mother’s Day deliveries for orders placed before 6:00PM (AEST).

Valentines Day Deliveries

At least 2 days’ notice is requested by Shady Hill Luxury Flowers if you want to deliver flowers in the morning of Mother’s Day unless it has agreed by phone call.


Shady Hill Luxury Flowers follows the first in first out principle for all deliveries on Mother’s Day unless there is special requested by phone call.  

In order to guarantee delivery for Valentine’s Day orders, we require orders to be placed no later than 8:00PM (AEST) 13 February.

Delivery Policy when the recipient is not at home to accept your gift

If the recipient is not at home to receive your gift, we will execute our discretion to determine if it is safe to be left at the front door or in proximity to it. In the event we are unable to leave the gift in a safe location, the items will be returned to the shop where we will get in touch with either the recipient or yourself to organise re-delivery dates and times. Re-deliveries will incur extra charges.

To ensure safe delivery of any gifts, we recommend including the recipient's phone number of the comments section of the checkout process so we may get in touch in the event they are unavailable.
